ANTARCTIC ARTS FELLOWSHIP | Applications now open
The Fellowship is a rare opportunity for members of the creative community to experience Antarctica first-hand, and share this with the broader Australian community through their chosen art form. The Arts Fellows travel south by ship or plane, and spend time at Australia’s Antarctic research stations. Applications close Fri 5 May. More info>>

THE BLUE ROOM THEATRE’S LOFT PROGRAM | Open to Indigenous artists and those with a disability
The Blue Room Theatre’s devolved funding program LOFT is now accepting applications from artists with a disability or artists from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island backgrounds. Applications for up to $15,000 for creative developments between July and December 2017 are being accepted. Applications close Wed 17 May. More info>>

DARK MOFO | Call for participants and volunteers
This is your opportunity to get amongst it and be part of Dark Mofo 2017 – there are a bunch of paid and volunteer gigs. You can be part of Nat Randall’s astonishing durational performance work The Second Woman, be an Ogoh-Ogoh carrier or in a new work by Mike Parr, or even volunteer to nude up and be part of Hermann Nitsch’s HUGELY controversial gorefest 150.Action. ARTS HOUSE | ACMI X Hot Desk for Artists
The Arts House desk at ACMI X offers space designed by Six Degrees, access to high-speed Wi-Fi, shared facilities and access to a curated events program. Available in weekly blocks (Mon – Sun) and can be booked by emailing [email protected] with your preferred weekly blocks (max 4 weeks) and a project short description. Arts House welcomes expressions of interest from independent artists requiring desk space for their creative practice until 30 June 2017.

AUSTRALIA COUNCIL | Professional placement - Shanghai International Dance Centre
The Australia Council is offering professional arts placement opportunities for arts workers to visit China. IAN POTTER CULTURAL TRUST | Early Career Artists
The Cultural Trust offers grants up to $7,000 to assist emerging and early career artists of exceptional talent to take up professional development opportunities, usually overseas. CRITICAL PATH & PERFORMING LINES | First Nations choreographic residencies
Our pals over at Critical Path have two great opportunities for Indigenous choreographers – they are offering two different residencies at the Drill Hall and at Mirrimu. Go on a two week residency in rural New South Wales at Mirrimu at Bungendore, or one week’s space at the Drill Hall in Sydney. Better still – you get a fee and access to producing support from us! VITALSTATISTIX | Adhocracy callout and Artists In Residence
One of our favourite events of the year, Adhocracy is a unique opportunity that opens up the development process to the public through daily showings and public talks. BUNDANON TRUST | 2018 Residency Program
Applications for Bundanon in 2018 are about to open. This is your opportunity to apply for residency space in their beautiful surrounds.
