A big congrats to Sue Healey on making the longlist for the Australian Dance Awards for her installation and performance work On View performed at Carriageworks and Dancehouse for Dance Massive last year.
Combining live performance with stunning dance video ‘portraits’, Healey’s work showcases some of Australia’s finest dancers including Martin del Amo, Shona Erskine, Nalina Wait, Raghav Handa and Benjamin Hancock.
The shortlist will be announced in the coming months ahead of the ceremony in Perth in September. The Australian Dance Awards will feature as part of the MoveMe Festival showcasing work from West Australian dance companies, including Co:3 and exciting new company Praxis (produced by Performing Lines WA).
