Audition notice – male-identifying performer needed

The creators of exciting new performance work Unheimlich are looking for an actor, dancer or physical theatre performer to collaborate on a 2-week funded development of a new interdisciplinary work co-created by Katt Osborne and Tarryn Gill, produced by Performing Lines WA.

We are looking for a male-identifying performer who:

  • is 35 – 45 years of age (not casting age, actual age)
  • is confident working physically
  • is confident working in non-verbal and non-literal improvisation process
  • has had some experience with masks (desirable, not essential)
  • available to take part in a full time development from August 6th – 17th 2018

Auditions will be held on Sunday 8th July during the day in 20 minute slots. You do not have to prepare anything, just come ready to move. The Director will lead you through a solo physical improvisation using some of the masks from the work, followed by a short interview.

Please note: unfortunately there can be no flexibility with audition and development dates.
