Australia Council | International Arts Strategy Outcomes Fund
The 2018 – 2019 dates for this fund have just been announced. Now called the International Arts Strategy Outcomes Fund, this supports opportunities that directly arise from strategic initiatives delivered by the Australia Council in the target international regions under the International Arts Strategy. First round closes Tues 17 July.
Inner West Council | Arts Grants
Grants are open to not-for-profit organisations, social and creative enterprises, individuals auspiced by an incorporated body and individual artists. The Arts and Culture Grants program aims to strengthen the Inner West community as an arts and cultural hub. Applications close Mon 16 July.
Creative Victoria | VicArts Grants
The VicArts Grants program invests in the creative endeavours and professional practice of Victoria’s artists and smaller arts companies. It provides one-off support for discrete projects and programs that will develop and bring dynamism to Victoria’s arts sector. Applications close Thurs 26 July
Creative Victoria | Creators Fund
The Creators Fund paves the way for independent creatives to take their practice and their careers to the next level by providing them with one of the most important and scarce resources – time (and up to $50k!). Applications close Thurs 26 July.
City of Parramatta | Social Enterprise Business Planning Grant
This fund assists existing local social enterprises to engage professional services to assist with operations (marketing, book-keeping, etc) OR funding existing orgswho are at concept development stage to research, develop and write a business plan. Applications close Thurs 2 August.
Regional Arts NSW | Country Arts Support Program
The aim of the Country Arts Support Program is to support community arts and cultural development in regional NSW

Create NSW | Regional Arts Touring
This program supports projects that provide access to arts and culture for audiences living in regional NSW. Funding is available for tours for all artforms. Applications close Fri 3 August.
Country Arts WA | Next Level YCulture Regional
This funding round is designed to provide emerging artists and artsworkers aged 18-26 with an opportunity to develop their creative careers. Applications close Fri 3 August.
Create NSW | Artist Support Grants
This program supports professional development opportunities for NSW-based professional artists and arts/cultural workers in skills or market development. Applications close Mon 13 August.
City of Sydney | Knowledge Exchange Sponsorships
This sponsorship program is designed to encourage the exchange of ideas and knowledge, support the showcasing of local expertise and encourage dialogue on local and global issues. No deadline – open for application year-round.
Creative Partnerships Australia | Plus1
This dollar-for-dollar matched fundraising program is designed to boost the fundraising efforts of small to medium not-for-profit arts organisations. Applications close Wed 15 August.
Create NSW | Fellowships
This program supports NSW artists, practitioners, and arts/cultural workers to undertake self-directed professional development programs or significant opportunities to support their personal creative and career advancement. Applications close Fri 17 August.
Country Arts WA | Project Fund
This fund benefits regional and remote artists, arts workers, audiences and communities by supporting and promoting participation in, and access to, art and culture. Applications close Fri 17 August.
Arts Queensland | Individuals Fund
This supports individual artists and cultural workers (emerging and established) to participate in transformational professional and career development opportunities. Applications close Fri 17 August.
Create NSW | Regional Partnerships
This program supports significant and long-term partnerships in regional NSW that will stimulate and leave a legacy of strong and diverse regional arts and cultural activity. Applications close Mon 27 August.
Create NSW | Creative Capital Fund
This program supports the improvement of arts and cultural infrastructure and purchase of equipment used for arts and cultural purposes. Applications close Mon 27 August.

City of Perth | Arts and Cultural Sponsorship Grants
Arts Grants are accessible to a wide range of applicants and support a broad variety of art forms and creative cultural practice up to $40k. Applications close Tues 4 September.
Dept. Local Govt, Sport & Cultural Industries | Aboriginal Arts Grants (up to $40k)
This funding supports the creation and touring of new Aboriginal and Torres Strait arts in WA. This round for grants $15 – $40k is closing Thurs 6 September. You can apply for amounts up to $15k by Friday every week.
Regional Arts Fund (NT) | Community Grant
The Regional Arts Fund community grant round offers up to $20,000 per grant to increase community access and participation in arts and culture in the Northern Territory (NT). Applications close Tues 11 September.
Ian Potter Cultural Trust | Early Career Support
The Cultural Trust offers grants up to $10,000 to assist emerging and early career artists of exceptional talent to take up professional development opportunities, usually overseas. Applications close Tues 11 September.
Create NSW | Arts and Cultural Projects
This program supports professional arts and cultural projects at any stage of the creative process. Applications close Wed 12 September.
Sidney Myer Fund | Capacity Building Stream
This program seeks to strengthen and grow the independent arts and cultural sector in Australia by granting money to ensembles, collectives, groups and organisations that are highly connected within their sector, and producing excellent work. Applications close Mon 16 September.
Australia Council | Project, Career Development & Playing Australia
The next big round of grants through the Australia Council is open to individuals, groups, arts workers, and touring productions respectively. This round is closing Tues 2 October.
Dept. Local Govt, Sport & Cultural Industries | Commercial Development Grants Program
These grants are available up to $25k for projects and activities that develop commercial potential, increase business viability and extend the market reach of emerging and established creative industry professionals. Applications close Thurs 4 October.
Arts Tasmania | Aboriginal Arts Funding
This supports arts projects and activities by Aboriginal artists and organisations that stimulate contemporary, traditional and non-traditional Aboriginal art forms and practice. Applications close Mon 15 October.
