Our friends at Arts on Tour are running a touring workshop to help you get to grips with the nuts and bolts of touring.

And we’re involved! Our Marketing Manager Thom will be on a panel discussing the tools and materials you’ll need to connect with regional audiences.

Create NSW | Regional Partnerships
This program supports significant and long-term partnerships in regional NSW that will stimulate and leave a legacy of strong and diverse regional arts and cultural activity. Applications close Mon 27 August.

Tanks Arts Centre | Multi-Artform Residency
Open to all, the residency program at this iconic arts space in Cairns allows space and time to create new work for a small weekly fee. Applications open year round.

Create NSW | Creative Capital Fund
This program supports the improvement of arts and cultural infrastructure and purchase of equipment used for arts and cultural purposes. Applications close Mon 27 August.

Midsumma | Midsumma Futures Callout
Early career queer artists are invited to be part of this year-long development lab as part of Melbourne’s iconic Midsumma Festival. Applicatons close Mon 27 August.

Sydney Dance Company | Pre-professional year
Applications are now open for SDC’s 2019 Pre- Professional Year. Aspiring professional dancers ages 18 – 24 experience full-time training with one of Australia’s leading contemporary dance companies. Applications close on 27 August.

Cowwarr Art Space | Residency Program
These residencies are open to all, including contemporary and experimental performance, digital design, sculpture, photography, craft, fashion, music, dance, composition, writing, and sound works. Applications now open.

City of Perth | Arts and Cultural Sponsorship Grants
Arts Grants are accessible to a wide range of applicants and support a broad variety of art forms and creative cultural practice up to $40k. Applications close Tues 4 September.

Dept. Local Govt, Sport & Cultural Industries | Aboriginal Arts Grants (up to $40k)
This funding supports the creation and touring of new Aboriginal and Torres Strait arts in WA. This round for grants $15 – $40k is closing Thurs 6 September.  You can apply for amounts up to $15k by Friday every week.

City of Sydney | Art and About 2019
The City of Sydney’s long-running Art and About program takes performance, installation and visual arts out into public spaces around the city. Grants of up to $85,000 are available, closing Fri 7 September.

Unity Space | Artist residency – Melbourne
Performing artists are invited to submit a proposal for a residency which may include developing a new work;  investigating some aspects or ideas in their already existing practice, or undertaking a choreographic, performance or installation research.  Residency from 5 Nov – 8 Dec 2018 at The Space Dance & Arts Centre. Applications close on 10 September.

Regional Arts Fund (NT) | Community Grant
The Regional Arts Fund community grant round offers up to $20,000 per grant to increase community access and participation in arts and culture in the Northern Territory (NT). Applications close Tues 11 September.

Ian Potter Cultural Trust | Early Career Support
The Cultural Trust offers grants up to $10,000 to assist emerging and early career artists of exceptional talent to take up professional development opportunities, usually overseas. Applications close Tues 11 September.

This program supports professional arts and cultural projects at any stage of the creative process. Applications close Wed 12 September.

Sidney Myer Fund | Capacity Building Stream
This program seeks to strengthen and grow the independent arts and cultural sector in Australia by granting money to ensembles, collectives, groups and organisations that are highly connected within their sector, and producing excellent work. Applications close Mon 16 September.

This program supports arts projects that celebrate and promote Aboriginal cultural identities in regional NSW and make the rich and diverse Aboriginal cultures of regional NSW more visible and accessible. Applications close Mon 24 September.

Australia Council | Project, Career Development & Playing Australia
The next big round of grants through the Australia Council is open to individuals, groups, arts workers, and touring productions respectively. This round is closing Tues 2 October.

These grants are available up to $25k for projects and activities that develop commercial potential, increase business viability and extend the market reach of emerging and established creative industry professionals. Applications close Thurs 4 October.

Arts Tasmania | Aboriginal Arts Funding
This supports arts projects and activities by Aboriginal artists and organisations that stimulate contemporary, traditional and non-traditional Aboriginal art forms and practice. Applications close Mon 15 October.

This program is open to local, national and international artists, with 11 studios and a residential apartment available for artists from all disciplines and project requirements. Applications open year-round.

For established arts leaders, this program brings together leaders from Australia and eligible Asia Pacific countries across artforms and career levels, to inspire and enhance arts leadership. The Arts Leaders Program will enhance your capacity as a leader, develop networks and provide the platform for you to be the best leader you can be. Applications close Fri 26 October.
