See below for stuff from the Australia Council, Arts NT, Desert Festival Alice Spring, Inner West Council, and heaps more.

ACCA, Carriageworks & MONA | The Katthy Cavaliere Fellowship
Female-identifying artists working at the nexus of performance and installation are invited to apply for a share of $300,000 in this joint commissioning program. Applications close Mon 17 December.

Inner West Council | EDGE Sydenham & GreenWay
The program will make over local neighbourhoods and precincts with innovative art installations, street art, light projects, music and live performances that celebrate the powerful impact of creatives in our communities. Applications close Mon 17 December.

Arts NT | Professional Development Grant
The Professional Development Fund grants offer support for professional artists and arts workers in the Northern Territory (NT) to access development opportunities. The grants support all of the following: profile NT arts and culture; increase skills, knowledge and capacity of NT artists and arts workers; contribute to NT arts sector development. Applications open year to NT artists.

Department of Local Govt, Sport and Cultural Industries | Online Grant Shutdown
WA artists – Culture and the Arts Grants will be closing for the holidays and system upgrades from late December to early January. If you plan to start a project between 19 December 2018 and 12 February 2019 inclusive, click here for more info>>

STRUT Dance | Rogues Program
An initiative to create opportunities for artists who have taken a more idiosyncratic or non-institutionalised pathway into dance. Nominations are open year-round.

Create NSW | Vision 360: VR/AR grants
Offering six grants of up to $20,000 each for professional artists to develop virtual reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) work. The grants are available for a range of NSW based practitioners working across diverse practices; including visual arts, theatre, dance, music, literature, and/or museum practices. Applications close Mon 7 January.

Australia Council | International Residencies program
There are a bunch of international residency opportunities available for 2019 in Paris, New York, Berlin, Rome, Helsinki and more. All are paid opportunities, durations vary. Applications close Tues 15 January.

Ian Potter Cultural Trust | Career Development Grants
The Cultural Trust offers grants up to $10,000 to assist talented emerging and early career artists to take up professional development opportunities, usually overseas. Applications close Tues 15 January.

Performance Space | Queer Development Program
Applications are open for both the Stephen Cummins Residency (supporting one queer artist to develop new work) and the Queer Workshop Intensive. Applications for both close 18 Fri 18 January.

Create NSW | Artist Support
This program supports professional development opportunities for NSW-based professional artists and arts/cultural workers in skills or market development. Applications close Mon 21 January.

Australia Council | International Arts Strategy Outcomes Fund
Open to artists, companies and producers who have attended a key international market or event supported by the Australia Council. Applications close Tues 22 January, Tues 19 March and Tues 21 May.

Performance Space & Critical Path | Experimental Choreographic Residency 2019
Our friends at P Space and Critical Path have teamed up once again for their annual Experimental Choreographic Residency. Artists from across Australia are invited to apply for three weeks of space at the Drill Hall, a $7500 fee and support and advice from both orgs. Applications close Thurs 24 January.

Critical Path, The Anthropocene Transition Project & Strange Attractor | Choreographic Hack Lab
Five artists with a choreographic practice will be joined by five practitioners from across the health, science and other sectors engaging with the concept of the antropocene. EOIs close Thurs 24 January.

Home of the Arts | Creative Development Program
HOTA are offering cash, space and resources to help you create, develop, present and collaborate. They want to support art-making and provide platforms for creative development, presentation and collaboration. Applications close Fri 25 January.

Australia Council | Various awards and bequests

Marten Bequest: travelling scholarships offer young artists (acting, architecture, ballet, instrumental music, painting, poetry, prose, sculpture and singing) the chance to explore, study and develop their practice through travelling either overseas or interstate. More info>>
Dal Stivens Award: presented biennially to an author aged 30 or under, for a short story or essay of the highest literary merit. More info>>
Kathleen Mitchell Award: presented biennially to the author, aged 30 or under, of an outstanding novel or novella to encourage advancement in their literary career. More info>>

Victorian Government | Community Arts Grants program
Provides funding for creative arts projects that reflect the experiences of local communities directly affected by the 2009 bushfires. Regional Arts Victoria will administer funding for communities and individuals from the 21 local government areas directly affected. Applications close Thurs 31 January.

Red Hot Arts | Desert Festival EOIs
This platform that showcases local and interstate artists, celebrating artistic and cultural vibrancy throughout the Spring season in Alice Springs/Mparntwe. EOIs close Fri 1 February.

Creative Victoria | Innovation in Marketing Fund
One-off support for discrete marketing projects that explore different ways of engaging audiences, building brand awareness and increasing income for existing programs, products or activities within the creative industries. Applications close Fri 1 February.

Australian Government | Aboriginals Benefit Account Grant Funding
ABA grant funding will: support one-off projects that are specifically for the benefit of Aboriginal people in the NT. Preference is for delivery by NT based Indigenous applicants. Applications close Fri 1 February.

IETM | Campus Eleusis 2019

A week of intensive training in all aspects of international working. It is a great opportunity for a group of 20-25 participants to start internationalising their careers guided by the key players in the international performing arts field. Applications close Sun 3 February.

Arts Queensland | Playing Queensland Fund
Supports the delivery of performing and visual arts projects that are ready to tour and have demonstrated community interest and confirmed demand. Applications open year-round.

IETM | Travel Bursary

Planning on attending IETM in Hull in the UK next year? You may be eligible for travel assistance. Applications close Mon 4 February.

Australia Council | February Grant Round
The Australia Council’s first big grant round for project, career development, Playing Australia and more. Applications are for projects starting after 1 May. Applications close Tues 5 February.

Creative Victoria | VicArts Grants
Invests in the creative endeavours and professional practice of Victoria’s artists and smaller arts companies. It provides one-off support for discrete projects and programs. Applications close Thurs 7 February.

VicHealth | Gender Equality Through the Arts Project Grant
This provides funding to Local Governments working in partnership with arts and creative organisations to run gender equality initiatives. Applications close Fri 8 February.

Creative Victoria | Touring Victoria
Provides support for Victorian arts and cultural organisations or professional creative practitioners touring a professional production, performance, exhibition or program to regional and outer-metropolitan Victoria. Applications close Thurs 14 February.

Helpmann Academy | Helpmann Fellowships
Valued at up to $20,000 each, the Fellowships will fund projects of significance, supporting early career artists to realise their visions and build sustainable practices. Open to emerging artists from their partner institutions working in visual arts, theatre, dance, music and film. Applications close Fri 22 February.

IETM | Hull Plenary Meeting 2019
One of IETM’s regular plenaries for artists and producers engaging with Europe and the broader arts sector. See above for information about travel support. Early bird regos close Fri 22 February.

Department of Local Govt, Sport and Cultural Industries | Regional and Remote Touring Fund
Support for touring in regional WA, including towards remount and community engagement costs! Open to applicants from across Australia. Applications close Thurs 28 February.

Arts NT | Four fellowship opportunities
Arts Fellowship grants offer support for established artists and arts workers to undertake a self-directed program of professional development to benefit their arts practice. Four fellowships are on offer: Top End artist; Central Australian artist; Aboriginal artist or arts worker; and professional arts worker. Applications close Fri 1 March.

Arts Queensland | Arts Business Innovation Fund
Addresses the need to support innovation to strengthen income generating and entrepreneurial capacity in Queensland-based not-for-profit arts and cultural businesses. Applications open year-round.
