The Seen and Unseen behind-the-scenes

A performer embraces another performer in The Seen and Unseen

A first look at The Seen and Unseen

We’ve just co-produced the world premiere of Kamila Andini’s deeply moving work The Seen and Unseen at Esplanade Theatre on the Bay in Singapore and Komunitas Salihara in Jakarta, Indonesia.

It’s a contemplative and magical exploration of life and death, of childhood grief and the unique bond of twins.

The Seen and Unseen will have a season in Australia in 2020 in Melbourne, the home base of collaborators Fraught Outfit, including the show’s Dramaturg Adena Jacobs, Lighting Designer Jenny Hector and Set Designer Eugyeene Teh.

Dates to be announced later this year. All images by Claudia Dian.

In everything we do, we acknowledge that we live on Aboriginal land and constantly learn from the wisdom of First Peoples.

Where we are and the history that precedes us informs how we work and how we move forward.
