Opportunities – Covid-19 Edition

While we’re all bunkered down at home, we have been busy compiling a list of grants, jobs, online workshops, resources, support links and everything else we could find that could be of use during this genuinely terrifying and strange time.

There are also links to mental health and financial services that we would encourage everyone to familiarise themselves with for themselves, loved ones and colleagues.

We encourage everyone to keep up to date on the health warnings. Please check the Australian Government’s Department of Health warnings regularly, avoid public spaces and gatherings, wash your hands and keep an eye out for each other.

This is a dynamic list and we’ll keep adding links to it. If there are any other really great resources or links you have spotted we should know about, email Thom at marketing@performinglines.org.au

Take care of yourselves and each other.

Xx

Spotlight on Adhocracy

One of our favourite responses to the crisis so far is Vitalstatistix’ remodelled Adhocracy program.

Scheduled annually in early September, the uncertainty around whether this can physically proceed this year has resulted in the organisation taking a flexible approach.

Programmed artists will receive the commissioning funds regardless of whether the physical event can go ahead, and they’ll work with the Vitals team to explore other avenues for development and showings.

Applications close Mon 25 May.
