Opportunities – Covid-19 Edition 3

We’ve been creating a list of opportunities ever since the beginning of Covid-19 in March. Below is a dynamic list which we’ve updated by adding and removing links to supply you with the most relevant information about jobs, grants, commissions, mental health and financial services.

Have a quick skim; you might stumble on something useful for yourself, for friends or maybe even your colleagues.

Keep up to date on the health warnings. Please check the Australian Government’s Department of Health warnings regularly, avoid public spaces and gatherings, wash your hands and keep an eye out for each other.

If there are any other really great resources or links you have spotted that we should know about, email Win at marketing@performinglines.org.au

Stay safe and be kind to each other.

Xx

Spotlight on HWY Program

La Boite Theatre Company’s brand-new HWY Program provides a pipeline for artists to develop new work and ideas. This might interest some interstate collaboration opportunities outlined below.

The new HWY offering will provide six paid opportunities, including a 12-month commission for a local playwright or group of writers, a 6-month opportunity for interstate collaborators to develop a new work or an existing idea, and four 3-month development opportunities for artists or companies to seed new work for any one of La Boite’s spaces.

Applications will be open from now until Monday, 13 July 2020, with the application requirements and process differing per opportunity.
