Robi Stanton is the new Chair of Performing Lines

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Robi Stanton as the Chair of the Performing Lines board. 

Robi is based in Sydney and is currently the Vice President of International Television Distribution, Australia & New Zealand, for Warner Bros. International Television. 

She possesses a wealth of experience in the media and entertainment industries across content sales, audience development, technology, business transformation and marketing.  
Robi is also a fierce advocate for the advancement of women in business and the creative industries, contributing to a number of mentorship and skills development programs for emerging female leaders.

Robi joined the board of Performing Lines as a director in August 2017 and will be taking over the role of Chair from Bill Harris who recently resigned after a tenure of eight years. She comes into the role with enthusiasm and vision and we are excited to work with her into the future as Performing Lines continues to grow across the nation.

Robi Stanton Biography

Robi Stanton is a highly accomplished senior executive with extensive experience in media, marketing and digital across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.
In 2020, Robi was appointed Vice President, International Television Distribution at Warner Bros. responsible for the distribution of a portfolio of amazing content including current and library programming from Warner Bros., HBO, Warner Media Entertainment Networks and HBO Max across all media and digital platforms. Robi was headhunted to join Warner Bros. with a remit to drive cultural and business change in a shifting media landscape.

From 2007, Robi worked at Turner Broadcasting in a range of senior leadership roles. She was responsible for a diversified multi-platform operation, driving both Turner’s business strategy and commercial results. Her remit included networks management, content sales, entertainment advertising sales, off-channel business management and monetization of Turner’s growing catalogue of app, games and digital products. In this role, Robi increased profitability through a focus on data, developing the digital capabilities of her organization, launching new products and attracting both new clients and audiences. Robi has experience in P&L management, multi-platform rights and sponsorship negotiation, commercial partnerships, marketing strategy plus managing and developing multi-function teams. She is a thought leader in the areas of audience development, marketing creativity and digital product innovation.

Robi has a BA (UNSW) and completed her MBA in 2001. She is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company DirectorsRobi is focused on the empowerment of women and girls and current involvement includes mentoring elite female athletes with Minerva Network and participating regularly in “Mentor Walks”. Robi is a member of Chief Executive Women.
