We have just released the final reports of two separate research projects we were running with Patternmakers: the Road Work Intrinsic Impact study, and the Indigenous Community Engagement Evaluation.
The Road Work Intrinsic Impact Study evaluated the audience impact of three tours over four years. The tours were No Strings Attached’s Sons and Mothers; Side Pony Productions’ The Confidence Man; and Roslyn Oades’ Hello, Goodbye & Happy Birthday.
The reports’ findings will be of particular interest to presenters and marketers, showing audience members connected deeply, but in different ways, with each production.
We have also completed a study into the impact of our Indigenous Community Engagement Coordinator programthat accompanied Blak Lines tours of Queensland Theatre’s Head Full of Love, Australian Theatre for Young People’s Sugarland and Insite Arts’ Saltbush.
It looks at how Denise Wilson worked with venues to connect them with local Indigenous elders and community members, and the lasting impact this has had in local communities.
