Support Performing Lines

We pride ourselves on the portfolio of work we curate that interrogates our collective preconceptions and challenges us to build a better world. We champion the unconventional, the marginal, the rebellious and the new.

Our purpose is to embrace risk and to ensure that the breadth and plurality of Australia’s creative potential is represented and celebrated. For this reason we proactively program works by artist of colour, queer artists, First Nations artists, and those whose voices are marginalised.

We seek to produce works across a broad range of mediums including performance art, text-based theatre, music and dance. But in order to take these risks we need your help. The generosity of our donors allows us to consistently support independent artists and to assist them to create works of ambitious scale.

If you are also committed to a vibrant and healthy independent sector, please help us by making a contribution towards Performing Lines.

In everything we do, we acknowledge that we live on Aboriginal land and constantly learn from the wisdom of First Peoples.

Where we are and the history that precedes us informs how we work and how we move forward.
