Performing Lines’ Executive Producer Marion Potts is delighted to announce the appointment of Megan Roberts to the new position of General Manager for company.
“Megan will bring a fresh perspective to Performing Lines, along with her organisational strengths and impressive management skills,” Potts said.
“Most importantly, she shares a vision of what Performing Lines is and could be. I look forward to the many conversations that will fill our working days, and I can’t wait for her to get started.”
Megan will join the team in Sydney in early March, relocating from Western Australia following the conclusion of this year’s Perth Festival, where she is currently Associate Producer. Megan assumes the General Manager role from Karilyn Brown, who is currently acting in the position.
“A huge thanks to Karilyn for guiding us so steadily to this point, first as CEO and then overseeing the transition to our new executive structure. Karilyn’s dedication and sound stewardship has allowed us to leap towards the next horizon line.”
The appointment of Megan as General Manager marks the end of the company restructure process, and the staff and board of Performing Lines is looking forward to an exciting year ahead supporting some of Australia’s most exciting contemporary performing artists.
“Performing Lines is an organisation that I’ve long admired,” Roberts said.
“Its work in sector development and support for Australia’s best and most daring independent artists is unparalleled. I’m thrilled to be joining the team at this significant point in the company’s history,”
