Performing Lines stands for full equality

Performing Lines is committed to working for full equality for LGBTIQ+ communities, and our staff and board stand united in calling for an immediate parliamentary vote to allow marriage equality in Australia.

We stand in solidarity with, and for some of our staff and board as members of, the LGBTIQ+ community.

While we do not support the proposed voluntary, non-binding postal survey, if it is to go ahead, we urge a YES vote and want to ensure all equality advocates are able to have their voice heard.

You have until next Thursday 24 August to enrol or update your electoral details to ensure you are eligible to receive your postal survey form. Click here to enrol or update now>>

It only takes 10 minutes and can be lodged online.

Pending the outcome of two separate High Court challenges, the Australian Bureau of Statistics has published the following :

  • Survey forms will be mailed commencing Tuesday 12 Sept;
  • You’ll receive a survey, reply paid envelope and instructions on how to complete the form;
  • You must return the completed survey to the ABS address on the return envelope by 6pm (AEST), Friday 27 Oct. Forms received after 7 Nov won’t be processed.
  • Survey responses will be progressively processed with the final results published Wednesday 15 November 2017.
