Scenes from The Seen and Unseen

Drawing inspiration from Kamila Andini’s multi award-winning film The Seen and Unseen (included in the recent Sydney and Melbourne Film Festival programs), this new intercultural work brings together artists and collaborators from Indonesia, Singapore and Australia.

Filmmaker and director Andini is working with Adena Jacobs, Eugyeene Teh, choreographer Ida Ayu Waya Arya Satyani and young performers from across Indonesia.

Telling the story of Tantri and Tantra, twins born during a lunar eclipse, the work is a haunting and dreamlike exploration of familial bonds, sickness and hope.

We are producing the work for premiere in late 2019/early 2020. Check out some images from the recent creative development held in Bali.

The next stage of development will occur later this year.

In everything we do, we acknowledge that we live on Aboriginal land and constantly learn from the wisdom of First Peoples.

Where we are and the history that precedes us informs how we work and how we move forward.
